We thought it was going to rain all weekend which meant no working on our projects or getting our bikes fixed up to ride. However, we were pleasantly surprised with a sunny Saturday afternoon. Brandon fixed up the bikes and we began our outing. First, we biked to the park down the street. Roller hockey is apparently a really big deal in Burbank and we watched a few minutes of practice. There was some soccer happening on some of the little fields, too.

After some wandering around, we headed down to the Chandler Bikeway. There were tons of people and children and dogs all biking, jogging, scootering, etc. The bikeway is a really neat place to go and get some exercise without having to worry about traffic or uneven surfaces (plus seeing all the cute little doggies and children). We biked east till we reached the end of the path. Next weekend, we’ll explore the other end.
