Brandon and Savannah met in 2008 while they were undergraduates at Texas A&M. In 2009, they often ran into each other at various events. They began talking online and became friends. Both happened to be in College Station that summer, and they hung out after work and went dancing on Thursday nights. By summer’s end, they decided that they really did like each other and they started dating.
Things got more serious in July 2010 when Brandon was in a bad car accident and spent ten days in the hospital. Savannah missed a week of school to be by his side and support his family while he recovered. It was then that they both fully realized how deeply they cared for and needed each other.
They continued to encourage one another as graduate students, with Savannah taking Brandon food to the Viz Lab when he worked long hours on projects, and Brandon helping Savannah out with on-campus marketing school events and projects when extra hands were needed. Near the end of 2011, Brandon began looking for a way to get a ring and a proposal together so that they could team up for good.
Then, on March 03, 2012, Brandon took Savannah to the front yard of the duplex he’d lived in when they first began dating, got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. As you can probably guess from the fact that you’re looking at this web site, she said yes. : )
Brandon and Savannah were married on November 03, 2012 in St. James Episcopal Church in Texarkana, Texas with a reception at Texarkana Country Club.
In January 2013, they moved to Burbank, California.
